OUR VETS BILL
If you would like to donate to help with this ever increasing, but very necessary expense, even the smallest amounts given by lots of people add up and do help a great deal. You can donate by cash or cheque made payable to St Francis Home for Animals at the address shown on the location page.
AMIN OF DOGROOM
A dog groomer with a passion and empathy for dogs that enables him to handle even very scared and nervous dogs bought to us with coats that need his expert attention.
He has always taken the work we give him and never charges us as a charity. His time is so valuable to us. It helps us to put dogs on the road to recovery sooner and makes the them feel better because they are so much more comfortable.
Winter has nearly arrived and Christmas is coming
We have very little dry complete dog food in store so donations of all types of this food are needed to help us feed our dogs and keep them happy and healthy as this cold festive season begins.
We still need shampoo and collars especially really small ones.
If you have a spare one or one tucked away unused please donate it for one of our dogs. All sizes from size 1 upwards. Any type leather, woven, buckle up, half check or adjustable that clip together. Old or new it doesn't matter. The only collar we don't use is a check chain.
If you can commit an hour or two in the afternoon on a regular basis
to walk and play with dogs before supper please contact us on 01637 872976
or pop in any afternoon Monday to Saturday and have a chat with the manager
or staff and meet the dogs.
